Annual exhibition 2025 of the Department of Urban Planning: "München hat Plan"
17 January until 12 March 2024
Daily from 1 to 7 pm, free admission
Rathausgalerie, Marienplatz 8 in the city centre of Munich
"Creating NEBourhoods Together" is part of this year's annual exhibition organised by the Department of Urban Planning of the City of Munich in the Rathausgalerie.
The 2025 annual exhibition of the Department of Urban Planning and Building Regulations is entitled "Munich has a plan" and brings the new urban development plan to life using seven future locations.
The exhibition shows what it might feel like to live, work and spend time outside in Munich in the year 2040. The seven locations presented illustrate the transformation from today to tomorrow. The measures and strategies needed to become a ‘future location’ can be seen.
The new urban development plan ("Stadtentwicklungsplan", STEP) lays the foundation for the future. The objectives are sustainable urban development and the balancing of social, ecological and economic concerns for a city in balance. The digital plan is a guideline for the next 15 years and complements the "Perspective Munich" sustainability strategy.
