City walk: Developments around the center of Neuperlach
Wednesday, February 7, 2024, 4:30–7:00 p.m.
Neuperlach (further information upon registration)
The large Neuperlach housing estate in the southeast of Munich has been undergoing change for several years; concepts for the action area and the urban development funding redevelopment areas have been developed with the participation of the public.
Since autumn 2022, #CreatingNEBourhoodsTogether – selected as one of the six lighthouse projects with exemplary function as part of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) – has been innovatively supplementing the measures previously planned by the state capital of Munich for the district. European funding allows initial prototypes to be deepened and implemented.
But individual initiatives and interim uses, such as the “Community Kitchen” in “Shaere” or the “Neuperland” on Hanns-Seidl-Platz, also contribute to better coexistence among the residents of Neuperlach.
The city walk presents these activities - from Quidde35, the space for urban renewal, to the new "NEBourhoods Pavilion" in the residential ring to the "Community Kitchen" in "Shaere" and "Neuperland".
Speakers:
