Welcome to the NEBourhoods living room: opening hours, guided tours and workshops around the “Wohnen Weiterbauen” exhibition

Wednesday, September 18 to Saturday, September 21, 2024
Kulturhaus Neuperlach, Albert-Schweitzer-Str. 62, 81735 Munich

Wohnen weiterbauen Ausstellung TUM Lehrstuhl Andreas Hild

How can we make the residential buildings in Neuperlach socially, technically and economically fit for the future by transforming them?

The exhibition shows the answers and designs that we have found and developed for this question in the NEBourhoods project. The name of the exhibition already contains the basic idea, namely to continue building homes with prefabricated wooden elements. This enables not only the technical, energy-efficient and barrier-free refurbishment of the apartments, but also their spatial diversity. People in different phases of life and forms of cohabitation can live in them. Socially acceptable and with lower energy costs.

In films, models and drawings, you will discover a variety of new living environments that can be created for the ageing buildings in Neuperlach. The NEBourhoods living room provides space for discussions about a new culture of conversion in Neuperlach. Drop by and let yourself be infected by the anticipation of helping to shape our common future!
